Subject: Which cpu-type for AMD Athlon k7: pentium, k6, ... ?
Date: Mon, 26 Mar 2001 07:10:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3ABF5BA4.C2E376FD@enteract.com> (raw)
For gcc 2.95.3, which cpu-type is appropriate for an AMD k7 (Athlon)?
I've been using 'pentium', but I just noticed (in the gcc manual), that
'k6' is also a possibilty.
I'm not committed to 2.95.3, of course. Is there anything in the 3.0
branch that would be helpful with a k7?
Thanks,
Barnet Wagman
