Subject: Minimizing a bootstrap compiler
Date: Thu, 22 Mar 2007 03:15:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4601A68F.1050406@siol.net> (raw)
I've made a bootstrap compiler for GNAT-GCC Ada compiler from
GCC 4.1. The resulting package is around 11 Mb.
I tried to cut some Mb's off, by extracting files not used
during bootstrap. The result of this shaky method gave a
package of 8 Mb. Is there another way I can strip something
off?
