I am using gcc version 2.96. I have a g++ compile (creating an executable)
that can't seem to link in libraries made with gcc. Ninety percent of the
link errors from the.o files are various undefined references that are
based from the libraries. Recompiling the libraries with g++ instead of gcc
generates a huge number of C++ errors (stuff you can't do there you could
have in C).
How can I get these libraries to link properly with the executable without
doing a library recompile?
