and what does elf in arm-elf stand for?
can someone throw some light on this and vividly

ELF (Executable and Linking Format) is a binary format used by System V
Release 4 Unix (and others)...

is arm linux the linux for the arm devices ?
sometimes back i worked in "familiar linux' for an compaq i-paq, it
had an arm architecture..
