Hey,

Where do I find more information about the pseudo-random number
generators used in gcc? Specifically, I would like to know the
cycle-time of rand() in gcc-2.95.3

Note: The *delicous* GNU scientific library (gsl lib) is something for you.

Especially the rng chapter:
