Hi,

After looking at some -S powerpc assembly I started wondering:

Should the powerpc have had:

bcrr[l] branch register relative
bcra[l] branch register absolute (like bcctr only not requiring mtctr)?

Anyone know off the top of their head if powerx (x>4; 4 ~= 970) has
something similar?

Off the top of your head can anyone think of any other compiler
friendly instructions that would have been nice?

Thanks! (and sorry for the noise).

kevin
