Hi,
One idea I had to try to figure out why I can't boot a non-SMP kernel
on PowerPC when compiled with gcc 4.2.4 or 4.3.5 is to start with a
4.1.2 built tree and rebuild select parts with one of the newer
compilers and see if the result will boot. Is there any chance that
can work?
Thanks!
kevin

It should and if it doesn't we'd certainly want to know about it.
