MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-ID: From: Saurabh.Bhatnagar@blr.hexaware.com Date: Mon, 27 Jun 2005 04:46:00 -0000 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" X-SW-Source: 2005-06/txt/msg00180.txt.bz2 Hi I have configured GCC 3.4.2 like this: ../configure --prefix=/user/sbhatnag/gccv3.4.2 --with-gxx-include-dir=/user/sbhatnag/gccv3.4.2/include --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as --with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --with-cpu=ultrasparc3 --enable-threads=posix --enable-languages=c,c++ Later I have moved this(/user/sbhatnag/gccv3.4.2/* ) to another place and it's working from there. The concern is that once I remove /user/sbhatnag/gccv3.4.2 or the GCC sources (/user/sbhatnag/gcc-3.4.2) will there be any issues lilke softlinks failing? warm regards Saurabh
