When I try to compile a test program I wrote I get the following:

> gfortran -c test.f95
gfortran: installation problems, cannot exec 'as': No such file or directory

I'm running gfortran from a Mac with OSX Panther.

Any suggestions?
Amy W.

Hi all, I'm a Mac OSX 10.6.8 user and I'm trying compile some fortran programs and I got this error:

gfortran: error trying to exec 'f951': execvp: No such file or director

I tried to follow this link (http://eftrunk.blogspot.com/2011/11/how-to-fix-error-trying-to-exec-f951.html) to solve the problem but it didn't work, I got the same error.

I'm currently running:

[ivancabrera]$ gfortran --version
GNU Fortran (GCC) 4.6.2 20111019 (prerelease)

Can anyone help me with this?

Cheers,
Ivan
