Subject: google shows old gcc versions first
Date: Thu, 27 Aug 2020 23:12:36 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <c507551c-dc29-2430-b868-d78493629293@jguk.org> (raw)

Evening

I just googled:

gcc implicit-function-declaration

This page comes first.

https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.0.1/gcc/Warning-Options.html

I have raised this a few months ago

https://www.spinics.net/lists/gcchelp/msg51514.html

Can each gcc onlinedocs pages have a banner stating they are not the latest version?

How about setting the robots.txt to exclude all old versions? Only keep the latest version and and development version

Cheers, Jonny
