The dynamic loader is part of glibc, not gcc. You should ask on a
glibc mailing list. For more information, see
http://sourceware.org/glibc/
A little work with grep will show you that GL is defined in
sysdeps/generic/ldsodefs.h
and does some sort of namespace control or something.
