I have downloaded and installed DEV-C++, full kit, which include GCC. I'd
like to be able to utilize the GCC compiler via a DOS or Command Prompt
window. I know how to change the DOS PATH variable to find the compiler
itself, but the compiler can't find any of its library header files (i.e.
iostream.h). Are there other environment variables that I can define to
utilize the GCC compiler from a DOS window?

GCC_EXEC_PREFIX. See the on-line GCC documentation at gcc.gnu.org for
details.
