Where can I send a question such as the following, and hope for an answer?

When I compile a C program with the line:
#include <foo.h>
in what directories does the GCC C-compiler look for the header file?

I'm running gcc version 2.95.3 19991030 (prerelease) under Mandrake
release 7.2 on a PC Celeron machine, using Bash.

gcc-help is a good bet.

Add -v to the command line and GCC will tell you where it's looking
for headers.
