Hi,
I download gcc-3.0-20010615 and want to install it to my Mandrake Linux 7.0
I unzip, untar the file and get the gcc-3.0-20010615 directory, then
$ mkdir objgcc
$ cd objgcc
$~/gcc-3.0-20010615/configure --prefix /usr/local/gcc30
The displayed information:
configuring for a i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld host.
created "Makefile" in /home/wang/objgcc using "mt-frag"
/home/wang/gcc-3.0-20010615/configure:cc commond not found
*** The commond 'cc -o configure -g contest.c' failed
*** You must set the environment variable cc to a working compiler.
Waht can I do, please give me a hand. Thank you.
Wang
