I don't have a strong feeling about the name.  -Wpromoted-double sounds
like promotion *from* double, and -Wpromoted-to-double is pretty
ungainly.  But, that's a bikeshed.

If the patch as a whole is approved, I'll accept whatever name someone
wants to put on it.
