So I guess there are two problems. 1) I don't know which type definitions are missing (iow, the important ones from sys/type.h that are required to build gcc) 2) Mainly because of 1) I don't know what to pull in instead. DragonFly doesn't have this _type.h split like FreeBSD Do you have a suggestion for me on how to proceed? Thanks, John
