Hi,

here is the patch I wrote.  Does it match what you had in mind ?

main_identifier_node is now set in tree.c

I haven't changed MAIN_NAME_P uses in c-decl.c and cp/decl.c (obviously).
I haven't yet checked beyond simple build.
