Ok, I was missing copying of the EH edges:
FOR_EACH_EDGE (e, ei, gimple_bb (old_stmt)->succs)
{
if (e->flags & EDGE_EH)
make_edge (gimple_bb (new_stmt), e->dest, e->flags);
