If you could enumerate the things you think are necessary to check, I can arrange for the plugin to not be built if those are not available. I added a check like this for socketpair to my tree. I also plan to deal with the lack of plugin functionality as Joseph pointed out. I suppose I will add a check for fork. How about pipe? select? Tom
