There was a patch posted to remove the undefined behaviour from this 
testcase, but it appears to never have been applied.

Subject: [PATCH 1/6] Remove undefined behaviour from testscase.

There was a patch posted to remove the undefined behaviour from this
testcase, but it appear to never have been applied.
