The other patches need a self-contained submission showing the proposed commit message for that version of the patch, not just a discussion from the middle of a thread that can't be understood on its own without going through the rest of the discussion (and possibly previous patch versions) and doesn't say what form of explanation is proposed as a commit message. -- Joseph S.
