I can get the runtime to hang by asking it to load a 
class in an .so when there's an  executable with
the name of the class around.

$ gcj -o Hello.so -shared Hello.java
$ gij Hello
Hello World
$ gcj -o Hello --main=Hello Hello.java
$ Hello
Hello World
$ gij Hello
[this is where it hangs]

I have `.' in LD_LIBRARY_PATH if that makes a difference.
