     - Does not give Internal Compiler Error with
       gcc version 3.0 20010507 (prerelease)
     - You are using Red Hat's version of gcc.  Bug reports for
       this compiler should go to Red Hat at:
        http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla
     - updates exist to the compiler version you are using 
       from Red Hat which may fix your problem
