Suse Linux 6.4, gcc 2.95.3 (same with 2.95.2),
glibc 2.2.2, binutils 2.9.5 (same with 2.11)
>Description:
Build problem: After a normal configure in a separate
directory and "make bootstrap" gcc 3.0 stops with
./xgcc -B./ -B/opt/gcc3/i586-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ -isystem /opt/gcc3/i586-pc-linux-gnu/include -DIN_GCC -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -isystem ./include -I. -I. -I../../gcc -I../../gcc/. -I../../gcc/config -I../../gcc/../include -g0 \
-finhibit-size-directive -fno-inline-functions \
-fno-exceptions -fno-omit-frame-pointer \
-c ../../gcc/crtstuff.c -DCRT_BEGIN -o crtbegin.o
In file included from ../../gcc/tsystem.h:63,
from ../../gcc/crtstuff.c:60:
include/stdio.h:187: parse error before "__attribute_malloc__"
make[2]: *** [crtbegin.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/fury/tt/gcc-3.0/objdir/gcc'
make[1]: *** [stage1_build] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/fury/tt/gcc-3.0/objdir/gcc'
Problem are these lines in include file "gcc/include/stdio.h":
extern char *tempnam (__const char *__dir, __const char *__pfx)
__THROW __attribute_malloc__;
NOTE: Deleting the newline doesn't really help.
>How-To-Repeat:
configure
make bootstrap ;-))
don't know on which tool this depends
>Fix:
unknown?
