 Oh, I tried again with binutils 2.11.2 instead of 2.10.1
 and it works. So gcc 3.0 builds on Solaris but it needs a
 recent GNU binutils package like 2.11.2. Sorry.Maybe this
 shoud be somewhere in the docs.
 
 There's still this problem with Sun ld though:
 	collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
