 Although the problem is real, I incorrectly reported the 
wrong commandline switch to generate a dependancy file.

 Instead of -MMR, the actual switch is -MMD

 I apologize for not pasting actual command-line text...

 It would be most helpful if the original poster of
bugreports culd edit the entry, to fix such dumb typos..
