    In gcc 3.0, your code does not cause an Internal Compiler Error,
    but it generates a compilation error:
    
    bug.cpp:6:   instantiated from here
    /usr/local/include/g++-v3/bits/stl_vector.h:142: invalid use of array with    unspecified bounds
    
    
    Try using a vector< int * > instead.
