>Description:
Building libgcj's java.util package with multiple file input yields a tree check failure. It looks like check_inner_circular_reference can run into unresolved/unloaded classes in certain circumstances, in this case java.util.AbstractMap is a POINTER_TYPE instead of a DECL_TYPE?

A workaround is to add:

if (TREE_CODE (su) == POINTER_TYPE)
  return NULL_TREE;

>How-To-Repeat:
$ cd gcc/libjava
$ gcj -c java/util/*.java -o java-util.o
./java/util/LinkedHashMap.java:0: Tree check: expected class 'd', have 'x' (identifier_node) in check_inner_circular_reference, at java/parse.y:5245
