The assembler is being called with a flag -m68000. If you change that flag to -mc68020, I think that the file will probably compile properly. The m68k target should be defaulting to 68020 instead of 68000, but apparently isn't. Can you do two things: - send me your specs file which is created in the gcc directory during the building of gcc - try the following patch to m68k-none.h: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2002-01/msg00300.html and see if recompiling gcc works Thanks.
