A compiler built with this afternoon's CVS sources for the
3.1 branch fails to link any C++ program with:

/home/janis/gnu/tools/gcc-3.1/lib/gcc-lib/ia64-unknown-linux/3.1/../../../libstd
c++.so: undefined reference to `_Unwind_GetTextRelBase'
/home/janis/gnu/tools/gcc-3.1/lib/gcc-lib/ia64-unknown-linux/3.1/../../../libstd
c++.so: undefined reference to `_Unwind_GetDataRelBase'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
