Subject: Re: target/3925: [ARM/Thumb] Assembler chokes on branches with (PLT)
Date: Tue, 23 Apr 2002 08:57:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20020423155703.2480.qmail@sources.redhat.com> (raw)

Synopsis: [ARM/Thumb] Assembler chokes on branches with (PLT)

Responsible-Changed-From-To: pb->rearnsha
Responsible-Changed-By: rearnsha
Responsible-Changed-When: Tue Apr 23 08:57:01 2002
Responsible-Changed-Why:
    .
State-Changed-From-To: analyzed->suspended
State-Changed-By: rearnsha
State-Changed-When: Tue Apr 23 08:57:01 2002
State-Changed-Why:
    The correct way to resolve this will depend on the outcome of
    the ARM EABI review -- that is, whether a new relocation
    type should be added to handle thumb branch instructions
    in PIC mode, or whether the existing relocations should
    be re-interpreted. I'm suspending this bug until such
    time as the correct approach is known.
