 I should wait for the next Rawhide release and try it. Perhaps it's been fixed 
 and I'm wasting your time, in which case I apologize. I'd rather not try cvs 
 because I'd have to recompile a lot of things to work with the C++ library - 
 it would be easier to manage the RedHat srpm.
