I thought the above iconv switch would make it find that. Not sure what is going on with libintl. ./xgcc -B./ -B/proj/wdt/gnu_sun5.1/gcc-3.2.1/sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1/bin/ -isystem /proj/wdt/gnu_sun5.1/gcc-3.2.1/sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1/include -isystem /proj/wdt/gnu_sun5.1/gcc-3.2.1/sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1/sys-include -dumpspecs > tmp-specs ld.so.1: ./xgcc: fatal: libintl.so.2: open failed: No such file or directory Killed gmake[2]: *** [specs] Error 137 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/proj/wdtold/warrend/gnusrc/gcc-everything-3.2.1/gcc-3.2.1_sun5.1/gcc' gmake[1]: *** [stage1_build] Error 2 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/proj/wdtold/warrend/gnusrc/gcc-everything-3.2.1/gcc-3.2.1_sun5.1/gcc' gmake: *** [bootstrap] Error 2 ldd gcc/xgcc libintl.so.2 => (file not found) libiconv.so.2 => (file not found) libc.so.1 => /usr/lib/libc.so.1 libdl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libdl.so.1 /usr/platform/SUNW,Ultra-1/lib/libc_psr.so.1 The same configure with sun5.1 changed to sun5.8 works fine on solaris8 >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
