 (I hope this is the right place to send more information, I couldn't
 find any other way to attach more information to the bug-report).
 
 
 The JAR in the report that did not compile with GCJ=20
 was produced with JDK 1.4. When the same JAR was recompiled=20
 with JDK 1.1.8, it worked fine with GCJ.
 
 From Serialio.com:
 
 "We used Sun's JDK 1.1.8.
 JDK 1.4 has some new bytecodes, and when you
 mentioned that you needed to rebuild our standard
 JAR, that was the clue to try JDK 1.1.8."
