Subject: Re: c++/9729: [3.3/3.4 regression] ICE in mangle_conv_op_name_for_type, at cp/mangle.c:2612
Date: Tue, 18 Feb 2003 00:35:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030218003537.26121.qmail@sources.redhat.com> (raw)

Synopsis: [3.3/3.4 regression] ICE in mangle_conv_op_name_for_type, at cp/mangle.c:2612

State-Changed-From-To: open->analyzed
State-Changed-By: bangerth
State-Changed-When: Tue Feb 18 00:35:36 2003
State-Changed-Why:
    Indeed a regression. Here's a smaller snippet:
    -------------------------
    template<class T1>
    struct A {
      typedef typename T1::X X;
      operator X() const;
    };

    template <class T0, class T1 >
    struct B {
      typedef typename T1::X X;
      operator X() const;
    };
    -------------------------

    tmp/g> /home/bangerth/bin/gcc-3.3-pre/bin/g++ -c x.cc
    x.cc:10: internal compiler error: in mangle_conv_op_name_for_type, at
       cp/mangle.c:2612
    Please submit a full bug report,

    Same message with 3.4, compiled cleanly with 3.2.2.

    Code is similar to PR 9454 and 9727, might or might not
    be related.

    W.
