If you rename NumOf into Bar, it works. Probably you did a mistake reducing the snippet. Anyway, the code is also missing the template keyword to disambiguate the parser (use return foo.template Bar<T1>()). Not a bug, unless the poster provides another snippet. Giovanni Bajo
