Subject: Re: bootstrap/9045: [sparc-solaris2.5]libintl and libiconv not found at first ./xgcc usage
Date: Tue, 15 Apr 2003 11:41:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030415114105.17552.qmail@sources.redhat.com> (raw)

Synopsis: [sparc-solaris2.5]libintl and libiconv not found at first ./xgcc usage

State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback
State-Changed-By: ebotcazou
State-Changed-When: Tue Apr 15 11:41:04 2003
State-Changed-Why:
    I can't reproduce on the sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1 box I use.
    I configured with --with-libiconv-prefix=/opt/TWWfsw/libiconv18
    but the configure script correctly detected that the library
    was not seen by the dynamic linker

    checking for iconv... no, consider installing GNU libiconv

    and disabled the NLS support. Now, after doing

    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/TWWfsw/libiconv18/lib

    the configure script correctly detected the change

    checking for iconv... yes

    This is with GCC 3.2.3 prerelease.
