Also, do you by any chance have GNU flex (2.54 or so) installed? Would it be possible to add that to the mix and see what happens. Finally, I believe 3.3 will be out in the next 2-3 days, and that should have no dependency on any of these tools, so you should be able to bootstrap that without these sorts of problems. I'd still like to figure out why CVS is failing though, since I'm certain you're not the only one seeing these problems. Thanks, Dara
