I still don't know what caused gengtype-lex.c to be empty, but there is definitely a problem in the build scripts. They should not create, much less leave, files in the source directory. Currently, because of this problem, the only way to ensure that we start from a known state is to delete the source directory and do a new cvs checkout. -- Ludovic Brenta.
