RedHat-7.2, RHAS-2.1, Debian Sarge >Description: gcc's documented "-pthread" option does not set the -D_REENTRANT pre-processor flag. the link flag -lpthread is correctly set. "-pthread" is supposed to be a front-end to any needed options / libraries needed in order to build a multi-thread program. This includes pre-processing, compilation & link.
