Dear gcc,
For your records I've just successfully built gcc-3.0.4 for Alpha with Tru64 Unix 4.0d (PK6).
config.guess says "alphaev56-dec-osf4.0d"
Built with all defaults, no errors, test suite also successful.
BTW, I've just upgraded this system from 2.8.1 and I'm *much* impressed with the new build process. It seems all my hard-won experience building 2.x step by step is now for naught! :-)
regards,
Phil T
