You have this listed as a GCC mirror, but according to that site, it's no 
longer mirroring as of last March.

I just looked at ftp.ninemoons.com and it has all the most recent files,
including the 2000-02-28 snapshot.    So I don't see what the problem is.

It doesn't seem to have mirrored since then.  Same for
ftp.freesoftware.com (I'm checking the maintainer of that site).  By
chance did something change that isn't letting these two mirrors connect
at all times?

You're right.  I was half asleep, and when I saw
