Subject: Mail duplicates - Mailing list performance is very bad!
Date: Tue, 31 Mar 1998 00:46:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <13599.18826.212420.102010@slsvhmt> (raw)

The appended email was definitely duplicated here (there were others
as well).

Another problem with the lists is their currently very bad
performance. I usually have a delay of at least 3(!) days by
average in getting my own postings back via the list. I think, this is
far too long; if somebody is reporting a particular problem, I look at
the Date: and think `it's unlikely he didn't find a solution in the
meantime' and am in doubt, if I'd response.

manfred
