Sources: - egcs mainline from CVS last updated at Mon Oct 19 21:13:55 1998
- libg++-2.8.1.1a
Patches:
Environment: - GNU binutils 2.9.1.0.15
- dejagnu-980528
- gperf-2.7 with gperf-2.7-19981006 patch for -F
- Linux stable kernel 2.0.35 (compiled by gcc-2.7.2.3)
- glibc 2.0.6 (compiled by egcs-1.0.2)
Remarks: Still no heavy optimisation functioning.
The run didn't get as far as the testsuite; libg++
seems to be giving some grief :( it almost looks like
a bug in libg++, only libg++ has been building
happily for others, so I assume I am being stupid
here.

Which version of libg++ are you using? The most recent one is
< ftp://egcs.cygnus.com/pub/egcs/infrastructure/libg++-2.8.1.2.tar.gz >
and it does not contain any gperf related stuff anymore, because gperf
is a stand-alone package now.
BTW, I'm currently working on some patches for libg++ (make it
multilib "friendly", don't allow to "die silently", add an SCO
patch from Robert Lipe), so I expect a libg++-2.8.1.2a soon
(perhaps too late for you, so please get the 2.8.1.2 version now).
