Subject: Reload patch to improve 386 code

Bernd, I just checked at the FSF, and did not notice a copyright
assignment from you. Could you do that so that we can consider using
your code? If are employed as a programmer, particularly if you
developed the patch on company time, you need to get somebody who can
sign for the company (such as a vice president or director) to
disclaim all copyright claims to the code. Here is the sample from
the COPYING file, you would obviously alter the names.

Yoyodyne, Inc., hereby disclaims all copyright interest in the program
`Gnomovision' (which makes passes at compilers) written by James Hacker.

  <signature of Ty Coon>, 1 April 1989
  Ty Coon, President of Vice

You would then write a similar copyright disclaimer, giving the
changes to the FSF.
