Just a note about what most folks already know:
The 971105 snapshot is the easiest and cleanest building of all so far
under SCO 3.2v5.0.4. Good job, folks! I am getting a little bit
larger code files, though.
emacs 20.1 under whatever was around on September 18:
3030076 bytes
emacs 20.1 under 971105
3097560 bytes (after mcs -d and strip)
Oh, well. What's 60k in the emacs world ? ;=)

I know I've spent a lot of nights and weekends over the last three
years helping to make that happens, and I've done only a very very
small piece of the puzzle. I can't hear too many pats on the back,
and I imagine (especially at this point in the release cycle) that
affirmation from as many users as we can get is welcomed.

Do you know if the builds used identical flags to egcs?
Does size, 'dump -h' or 'objdump --headers' give you any good clues
about where that 60 K came from?
