Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had been looking into putting support
for predication into egcs. When Merced comes out, it would be nice
to be ready to re-target egcs for the underlying architecture of
Merced, which is supposed to have some form of predicated execution
(I wish I knew a bit more of the specifics... Anyone out there know
more about how the predication is set up?) Looking through the code,
it looks like it would take a good deal of work to put predication
into the intermediate language, so that optimizations could be done,
but I have just started getting familiar with the insides of gcc (egcs).
Is this easy, and I just don't know? Is there a mailing list on the
side that I should watch?

 -Pete
