I tried to build (just with 'configure' and 'make') egcs-971201 on an
It tries to compile f/bad.c with DEC C but GNU C compiler options (-W -Wall)
which gave a 'syntax error' from DEC C.
This is mentioned in the FAQ, under Problems building the Fortran compiler.
Basically, you should have done a `make bootstrap' command instead of a `make'
command.
