PPro 200 running Linux Debian 1.3.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1)
AlphaPC 164 running Linux Redhat 5.0 (alphaev5-unknown-linux-gnu)
both compiled with --enable-shared --enable-haifa --enable-threads
f771 sometimes stops due to a signal 6, but this can be avoided by
changing optimization (no extensive testing so far)
