This was my first build since 1201.   The patches I submitted earlier
to nuke -lPW *are* required.   Bootstrapping went boring enough once
that was worked out.   I am running a slightly modified dejagnu that 
doesn't make a mockery of multilibs.

g77 tested only on ELF, as always.

p10849a.C is a new failure, but it seems to be a known failure for
most targets.   All the COFF tests that fail are either mixture of
-mcoff/-fPIC or the constructor problem analyzed in 
	http://www.cygnus.com/ml/egcs/1997-Nov/0992.html

921215 failure is new.   The compiler looped on the test case overnight.
I had to kill it.

The scope-1 failure is new:
